We had a lovely experience on our return ferry trip. We got there early so that we had an outdoor seat at the back of the boat. The weather was lovely and we saw dolphins on a couple of occasions. It was a smooth ride through the river and then a speedy trip through the ocean to Rottnest. The ferry timings worked well as we had most of the day to enjoy on Rottnest. The crew were friendly and helpful. It also helped that there were snacks and drinks on board. Lovely sitting out in the fresh air, having a beverage and watching the sunset.
