Just a short ferry ride from Fremantle or Perth, Rottnest Island has long been Western Australia’s holiday destination of choice.

With 63 gorgeous beaches, a fantastic range of guided tours and packages and some excellent places to stay, ‘Rotto’ is perfectly set-up for families, groups, couples and solo adventures.

This beautiful island also offers 45kms of walking trails, a fascinating cultural heritage and amazing native wildlife, including a colony of New Zealand fur seals and around 10,000 adorable quokkas. Uneventful ferry ride. We booked late so there were no bikes available for hire and the ferry didn’t stock the snorkel gear. We were asked to wait for the next ferry to ask for the snorkel gear we had paid for. The crew didn’t inform the other ferry that we were coming either. One of the snorkels we were given was broken and we chugged water through the pipe. Ferry experience was great, but we won’t be back for snorkel hire

Rottnest Express Ferry and 90 minute bus tour of the island was a brilliant way to discover RI for the first time. Ferry was clean, comfortable and got us across really quickly there and back. Ferries left on time. Cos was a very safe and careful bus driver, friendly and lovely to talk to during the halfway stop. Coach was clean and comfortable. Eli was a knowledgeable and friendly guide, with great information and an easy to listen to voice during the tour. An educated overview of the history of the island, its flora and fauna and geology.A really great experience and good value for money

Service was as expected, trip across was as stated and as usual an experience to come back from Rottnest. Communication was clear and notice given for change of route. Was late departing to heap over due to other ships in the area so be prepared to wait in the sun if necessary. Staff were friendly and super efficient in packing and unpacking belongings.

Unfortunately winds were up to 28 knots,but the whole crew did everything possible to make it a memorable trip.The captain did a fantastic job of navigating the vessel to make the trip as smooth as possible.We got the Premium package and so glad we did ,the food, service and staff were second to none. Highly recommended this package and would certainly do it again.
