Just a short ferry ride from Fremantle or Perth, Rottnest Island has long been Western Australia’s holiday destination of choice.

With 63 gorgeous beaches, a fantastic range of guided tours and packages and some excellent places to stay, ‘Rotto’ is perfectly set-up for families, groups, couples and solo adventures.

This beautiful island also offers 45kms of walking trails, a fascinating cultural heritage and amazing native wildlife, including a colony of New Zealand fur seals and around 10,000 adorable quokkas. 船のキャパに対してお客さんが多い出港15分くらい前に乗らないと席を確保できるかあやしいです1階？地下？は避けたほうがいいです船の揺れが激しく皆ダウンして、、、臭いがこもります乗る前に必ず酔い止めをウールワースなどで買って飲みましょうジンジャーエールもあればベストグレートバリアリーフと同じくらい揺れます覚悟が必要ですがその価値ありますスタッフが念の為の袋を配ってくれるので必ず貰いましょうあとは30分寝て耐えるのみ

Overall, it ticked off my bucket list item! My friend and I did the ferry & bike combo. Rottnest island was stunning; I recommend starting early, biking clockwise to beat the crowds at Harriet & Salmon beach. The Quokkas are hard to find and when you do, it’s a line up to get a photo of one. Your best bet to see more is in the evening. In regards to the company, they were disorganized and showed no excitement. It felt rushed getting on the boat. Getting off felt very chaotic. Every place you stood was the wrong place. I recommend you have one staff stand at the end of the ramp to direct the crowd; those with their own bikes, hired bikes, luggage and other.

Good ferry transport and friendly staff, but the bicycles were very old, which made the trip quite difficult as a lot of effort was needed to ride them. The gears on mine were also making knocking noises. I informed the staff afterwards, but they didn’t seem pleased to hear the feedback. Please consider investing in new bicycles. Thank you.
