Swimming here is free and easy, but to really experience Rottnest’s dazzling underwater realm, strap on a snorkel and some fins and peer into the deep blue sea. The waters here are teeming with more than 135 species of vibrant tropical fish and 20 species of coral.

‘Large’ snorkelling hire includes size 7–15 flippers, snorkel and a mask with an adjustable strap.

‘Small’ snorkelling hire includes size 1–7 flippers, snorkel and a mask with an adjustable strap.

BOOKING YOUR SNORKEL

  1. Simply pre book your snorkel by adding it to your ferry or day tour booking.
  2. Your snorkel hire will travel on your chosen ferry service and you can collect it when you disembark at Rottnest Island
  3. When its time to leave the Island please bring your snorkel back down to the ferry with you and the Rottnest Express crew will collect it from you!
