From the moment we arrived, Sophie was welcoming, friendly, and incredibly professional. During the bus tour of Rottnest Island, she shared so much interesting information about the island’s history, wildlife, and hidden spots — all delivered with genuine enthusiasm. She made everyone feel comfortable and included, and was always happy to answer questions or help with directions and tips for exploring.Sophie’s warm personality and knowledge really elevated the whole experience. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does, and it shows in the way she looks after guests.A big thank you to Sophie and the Rottnest Express team for such a memorable day — highly recommend both the premium ferry and bus tour, especially if Sophie is your guide!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Absolutely SUPER DUPER experience!We went on the Rottnest Island Adventure Boat Tour yesterday (Friday, 11:30 am) and WOW — it was amazing, thrilling, and unforgettable! I have honestly never experienced anything like this before.The boat itself was fantastic — fast, powerful, and so much fun. Wearing the jackets, feeling the water splash on our faces, the boat going up and down like it was dancing on the waves — pure joy! we all enjoyed every single second 😂🌊A huge shout-out to the staff, especially Jodie and Kate (sorry if I’ve spelled the names wrong). They were friendly, professional, and made the whole experience even better. The way they explained the history of Rottnest Island and shared interesting details throughout the ride was brilliant — informative and entertaining at the same time.And the most magical part — we were lucky enough to witness beautiful marine life 🦭✨ The seals came so close, almost like they were saying hello to us, even posing while we watched them. Such a special and unforgettable moment!This tour is the perfect mix of adventure, fun, learning, and nature. If you love excitement, laughter, and breathtaking experiences, this is a MUST-DO. Highly, highly recommended — worth every moment! 🙌🚤💙
Rottnest Express Adventure Boat Tour — equal parts wildlife documentary and extreme sportWe did the Rottnest speed boat adventure cruise today with my husband, our 13-year-old and our 9-year-old, and WOW! What an experience.First, let’s talk about Max, our tour guide, zoologist, wildlife whisperer, comedian, historian and (as it turns out) bar-staff on the ferry home. This man is a national treasure. He had us laughing and learning nonstop as we saw sea lions, a 70-year-old active osprey nest (with actual ospreys flying around it), and a huge pod of dolphins that felt like a real-life David Attenborough moment. He also shared the Indigenous history of Wadjemup (Rottnest Island) with warmth, respect and clarity.Then we bumped into him later working the bar like it was no big deal. Multitalented, brilliant, and genuinely lovely. Someone please give Max a raise. He’s absolutely smashing his job.Now… Jodie, our skipper.Look, she is clearly an incredibly experienced and highly skilled captain. HOWEVER… I sat near the front of the boat (despite being warned) and spent a good chunk of the ride feeling like I was starring in my own maritime disaster movie. I screamed. A lot. I had to apologise to the poor people in front of me for shrieking in their ears.That said… while I felt like I was going to die, Jodie rode the thin line between “thrilling roller-coaster” and “perfectly safe” like a true professional. It was fast, wild, and insanely fun, and I had the biggest grin on my face the entire time. Pro tip: sit further back if you enjoy living calmly 😂The kids loved it. We loved it. It was exciting, funny, educational and completely unforgettable.If you’re going to Rottnest and you don’t do this tour, you are genuinely missing out.10/10 — would scream again. 🚤🐬🦭
