Just a short ferry ride from Fremantle or Perth, Rottnest Island has long been Western Australia’s holiday destination of choice.

These guys are great and their ferries are first rate. It is about a 12 mile crossing and the seas were flat as on the way over, but not the same on the way back! Some little kid decided to hurl on the way back and the smell in the confined space was a bit ordinary. A woman close by went into her handbag and found some cologne - instant relief. She deserves today's medal for bravery. These guys are great and a small incident aside (not their fault!), this was awesome

What a beautiful day, ferry trip from Perth to Rottnest was full of interesting facts, the view was amazing and staff members just friendly and full of knowledge. Eli and Larry deserve all the credit, the bus service in the island was amazing. Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us.

Our online booking didn't allow us to choose a return time from the island back to Fremantle. However when we asked at the 'office' at Freemantle the lovely lady was able to change times to fit with our tight schedule. We thank her for that as it made our day so much less stressful. The bus tour with commentary was brilliant. Larry & Holly make a great team. Holly is brilliant - great source of information, clear & easily understood delivery, great sense of humor, not to mention her 'Dad' jokes. Thanks heaps both of you, the highlight of our day.

We travelled from North Port due to works currently at BShed. I can not fault the service I received, even when the weather caused cancellations.. The staff were friendly & helpful, the facilities were nice an clean. Quick 30 min trip, with a full boat, little bumpy as advised and then we were there. Rottnest was just beautiful, the weather was lovely, the scenery, the food, the people, and not to forget those cute little quokka's, just 👌 what the soul needed for a quick R&R. We virtually had the boat to ourselves on our calm trip back to NPT, and I can't wait to do it again, till next time 🙂

ロットネスト島へ行く際に利用しました。私はKlookで事前予約をしていたので、受付ではQRコードを見せるだけでスムーズに手続きが完了しました。チケットをその場で購入する必要がなく、当日はそのまま乗船まで進めたので、とても楽でした。当日驚いたのは、出航時間よりかなり早い時間から並んでいる人が多かったことです。私も少し早めに到着しましたが、すでに列ができていました。特にフェリーのテラス席に座りたい方は、できるだけ早めに並んでおいたほうが良いと思います。景色を楽しみながら移動したい方には、この点は覚えておくと役立つはずです🌊 また、事前にチケットを持っていない方は、ターミナル内のチケット売り場で購入する必要があります。当日に購入している方も見かけましたが、その分手続きの時間もかかるため、予定が決まっているなら事前にオンラインで購入しておくほうがスムーズだと感じました。乗り場も比較的わかりやすく、スタッフの案内もあったので迷うことはありませんでした。ロットネスト島行きは人気があることもあり、余裕を持って到着することと、オンラインで事前予約を済ませておくことが、当日を快適に過ごす一番のポイントだと思います。

Amazing crew and service. Our luggage didn’t arrive because we put it in the wrong place for collection and the ground crew were so kind and efficient - they located it quickly and got it on the next boat back to B shed. My heroes ! I love rotto and I love rotto express

I’m giving three stars for the Rottnest Express terminal at Shed B. The best part of the experience is definitely the parking—it's very convenient to have all-day parking available for $12, saving the hassle of arranging Ubers or other transport. However, be aware that the facilities are very basic. The area is quite rugged and not particularly well-paved, and the signage and queuing system could definitely be improved to make the boarding process smoother. The nearby cafes are 'okay' if you need a quick bite while waiting, but don’t expect too much from the terminal itself. It serves its purpose as a functional departure point, but it’s definitely a no-frills experience.

Great people, and service! Eli is a star, my daughter was a bit sea sick on the ferry and he rushed to help us. Later on the bus tour he was also the tour guide. He is passionate and a great host with a fountain of knowledge. Mark the driver was also awesome and went out of his way to show us animals and sights! Highly recommended.

Mum and I visited Rottnest two weeks ago and had a wonderful time. We caught the ferry from Perth and enjoyed the commentary provided by the crew as we made our way down the Swan to Freemantle. The trip out to Rottnest was quick and thankfully not too choppy. Our bus tour later that day was perfect, skilfully navigated by driver, Des and overseen by tour guide, Eli. Would recommend Rottnest Express for anyone looking to enjoy some time on stunning Rottnest Island
