WA Kids 12 years & under travel free!

Rottnest Express is the proud owner of Quokka Club, allowing WA kids to travel to the island for free!

This exclusive offer is available to all WA kids aged 12 years and under (children aged 3 and under already travel with us for free). The standard Rottnest Island admission fee is still payable, going towards providing water and power and supporting conservation and sustainability initiatives across this beautiful island.

Quokka Club members receive a complimentary drink and snack on their first journey, a Quokka Club Passport and stamp rewards with every journey.

Welcome to Quokka Club 2.0!

The newest edition of your favourite Rotto travel club

Meet the newest iteration of the much-loved Rottnest Express Quokka Club, the best kids travel free program on Rottnest Island. As with our existing Quokka Club program, this is available to all WA kids aged 4-12 and is available now to new and existing members.

Make the most of brand-new member benefits that are exclusive to Rottnest Express Quokka Club members for on-island businesses such as food, drink & activities. Plus get your hands on two limited edition prizes only available with the new Quokka Club passport – it’s a club you won’t want to miss out on!

For new members follow the steps to sign up below and you will automatically join Quokka Club 2.0. Pick up your passport on your first trip with us to start collecting stamps.

For existing members all you need to do is pick up a new passport from our reservations team on your next travel with us and you’re ready to get started. Remember that stamps cannot be transferred to your new passport, you will need to start fresh. Member benefits for on-island businesses are only available to those carrying a Quokka Club 2.0 Passport, current members with the old passport will not be able to access these benefits.

What's Next?

  1. Once you have completed the sign up form you are officially a Quokka Club member and can travel with us for free* (Rottnest Island Admission fee is payable per trip), pretty cool huh?
  2. You will be sent an email to your nominated email address which will include your unique Quokka Club Membership number, please keep this somewhere safe! We recommend writing it in your Quokka Club Passport, which you can collect from our ferry terminal on your first Rotto trip.
  3. Ready to make a booking? Quokka Club members can be easily booked online by simply adding the Quokka Club tickets on to your booking then enter your Quokka Club membership details (first name, last name and Quokka Club membership number) on the names page, it’s that easy!
  4. Remember, you must be traveling with an adult and if you have an infant brother or sister they must also have a ferry booking. Once booked online you will receive an email confirmation. You must then see our team at the departure terminal reservation counter to receive your ticket, and don’t forget to get your Quokka Club Passport stamped whilst you’re there, before you hop on the ferry!

  • All standard Quokka Club T&Cs apply. 
  • Quokka Club 2.0 is available to existing members and new members. 
  • Stamps are non-transferrable and cannot be moved from one passport to another. 
  • If existing Quokka Club members wish to join Quokka Club 2.0, members must hand in their current passport and start fresh with a new passport. 
  • On-island business offers are available at the discretion of each individual business, they have the right to refuse redemption of the offer for invalid or expired passports. Individual T&Cs for these offers can be found within the passport. 
  • Visits to the wheelhouse are available at the discretion of the skipper on the day, Rottnest Express reserves the right to refuse entry based on operational requirements and weather.
