‘The aim of the Rottnest Conservation Foundation is to retain and enhance the Island’s essence for future generations by funding environmental, cultural and heritage projects.’

The Foundation is a voluntary organisation that was established in 1985 by a group of volunteers passionate about Rottnest Island. Its key goals are;

  • To fund and support environmental, cultural and heritage projects on Rottnest Island;
  • To raise awareness of the Rottnest Conservation Foundation’s role in supporting the conservation of Rottnest’s natural and cultural assets; and
  • Build and maintain support for the Foundation’s fundraising activities for Rottnest Island.

You can become a ‘Friend of Rottnest’ and join the Foundation in its work to assist with important conservation projects on Rottnest.

ロットネスト島発 4.00 pm

ロットネスト島の自然を海側から眺め、その周りに生息する様々な鳥類、アザラシやイルカ、シーズンには鯨などの多くの海洋動物を間近に見ることができるエコボートツアー。RIBと呼ばれる特別仕様のボートは喫水が浅く、暗礁に囲まれているロットネスト島周辺の複雑な入り江に進水可能。オープンエアのデッキからロットネスト島の大自然をそのまま体感していただけます。

Eco Express

運航期間は例年１０月から５月まで。毎週木曜日から月曜日までの間、９０分と６０分のツアーが午前と午後にそれぞれ一日一回ずつ運航しています。
